1,171,025. Moulding fluid-flow manifold blocks. SPERRY RAND Ltd. 26 March, 1968 [25 Feb., 1967], No. 9089/67. Addition to 1,098,291. Heading B5A. The method of making a fluid flow manifold block which is described in parent Specification 1,098,291 is modified in one or more of the following ways: (a) a flexible solid member, e.g. a rod is used instead of a tube, (b) the block is removed from the hollow former, (c) the tube or rod is held in deformed condition by e.g. metal wire, (d) a reinforcement or an insert, e.g. a screw-threaded element or metal sleeve is embedded in the block, (e) a slide valve is located in a fluid flow path, (f) ferrous particles are located round a fluid flow path, (g) the resin is an epoxy resin with a filler, e.g. glass fibres or metal particles.
