Abstract

1,170,136. Inspection chamber. J. K. HOARE. 29 Feb., 1968 [17 April, 1967], No. 17561/67. Heading E1C. An inspection chamber for land drainage comprises precast reinforced concrete slabs 1-5, the rectangular base 1 having rebated edges receiving the lower rebated edges of the wall slabs 2 and 3, which interengage along their vertical edges via rebates in the slabs 3, and which support directly at their upper edges, or via one or more intermediate peripheral collars (Figs. 3, 4, not shown), or cover 4 which may, as shown, have a removable panel 5 therein. Drain pipes are grouted in the apertures 7 in the walls.
