Abstract

1,169,308. Sliding drawers. E T A B S . ALLIBERT. 28 June, 1968 [30 June, 1967], No. 30866/68. Heading A4B. A drawer 2 is guided by a pair of parallel ribs 5 extending from front to rear of the drawer centrally beneath its bottom, the ribs 5 straddling a pair of ribs 7 upstanding from the bottom of the drawing housing 3 and parallel to laterally disposed ribs 9 on which the drawer 2 rests, and inadvertent removal of the drawer is prevented by engagement of stop plates 6 and the rear ends of the drawer ribs 5 with lugs 8 upstanding from the bottom of the housing. To completely remove the drawer the housing bottom is flexed downwardly so that the stops 6 may pass over the lugs 8. The forward edges of the lugs 8 incline downwardly and forwardly.
