Abstract

1,168,910. Harvesters. TEXAS INDUSTRIES Inc. 17 Oct., 1967 [26 Oct., 1966], No. 47326/67. Heading A1F. A combine harvester has straw walkers through which a current of air is directed. An air supply conduit 17 is joined by a flexible pipe 16 to a duct 13 secured beneath the walkers 9. Air is ejected between the steps of the walkers by nozzles 15. In a embodiment there are two air supply conduits each of which is connected to two straw walkers and arranged to provide an intermittent supply of air.
