A clamp for a pair of flanges 10, 11 on conduits or the like comprises a post 17 screw threadedly engaged in a hole in the flange 10 and extending into an aligned hole in the flange 11, a spring 19 on the post between a fixed flange 27 and a slidable and rotatable collar 18 having trunnions 31 to which ears on a lever 20 are pivoted, a clamping member 21 being pivoted on pins 41 on the lever and frictionally engageable therewith so that by pivoting the lever the clamping member is moved to engage a clamping extension 37 beneath the flange 11 the pins 41 moving to over centre position with respect to trunnions 31 to retain the clamping member in position.
