Abstract

1,168,302. Aluminium N-acetylglycinate. R. Y. MAUVERNAY. 26 April, 1968 [12 May, 1967], No. 22230/67. Heading C2C. The novel compound aluminium N-acetylglycinate of the formula is prepared by reacting N-acetylglycine with freshly distilled aluminium isopropylate in anhydrous isopropanol. Therapeutical compositions, suitable for oral administration contain the above novel compound as the active ingredient and a pharmaceutical carrier. The compositions have a neutralizing and anti-ulcer action at the gastric level.
