A cupboard 2 has two sliding glass doors 3, 4 with bottom edges secured in plastics shoes 5, 6 each having a depending rib 7, 8 slidably engaged in one or other of two parallel grooves formed in the body of the cupboard 2, each shoe 5, 6 having at one end an integral handle 9, 10 in the form of a plate and an end of one rib 7 being cut away, at 12, to receive the handle 10 on the other rib 6 when the doors 3, 4 are opened to an overlapping condition. An opening 13 in one rib 8 provides a socket for the bolt of a lock.
