Abstract

1,167,901. Joints for frameworks. AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE & ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 22 Feb., 1967 [23 Feb., 1966], No. 7992/66. Heading A4H. [Also in Division H1] A framework structure for mounting electrical equipment comprises a first elongated member 13 adjustably clamped at its end to a second elongated member 11, by a link 22 having two limbs 27, 28 which fit snugly into channels 16, 17 in opposed edges of the first elongated member 13. Screws 29, 30 are passed through apertures 25, 26 in up-turned lugs, 23, 24 on the link and driven into edge slots 14, 15 in the second elongated member 11. An end of the first elongated member 13 may be located between two parallel members (18, 19 Fig. 3) and secured thereto by a link (31) which differs from the link 22 in that the apertured lugs are not upturned. The framework comprises a rectangular framework (Fig. 1) having three compartments (A, B, C) and a multipoint plug connector (10) at one end.
