[Also in Division B8] Glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin containers are produced by locating a plurality of bases on a common axis, spaced apart by means of preliminary walls or "mantles" therebetween and forming the containers end to end by rotating the assembly about said axis and winding continuous filaments of resin-impregnated fibres about the outer surface of the walls or mantles and separating the containers. The preliminary mantles or walls may be removed after winding or retained. Each base preferably has a raised peripheral "collar" band, the filaments being wound thereon to connect the base and article wall together, the base also having an inwardly facing peripheral shoulder for mounting the preliminary wall or mantles. The articles may have partitions of a form similar to the bases.
