Sparking-plugs.-The earthed electrode 6 is formed from a disk cut preferably to the shape shown in Fig. 3, and retained between the rim 5 and a ring 4 which is pressed down by the insulator 3. The size of the spark gap may be adjusted by varying the washers 9 between the insulator and the electrode and casing.
