Abstract
1,165,206. Alcoholic beverages of retained aroma. NISSHIN SANGYO K. K., M. YAMADA, H. KOMODA and F. MANO. Oct. 20, 1966 [June 22, 1966], No.46936/66. Heading C6E. Gas given off during fermentation of an alcoholic beverage is introduced into an alcoholic solution e. g. under the pressure of the carbon dioxide produced, so as to absorb the aroma gases and the solution obtained is added to the alcoholic beverage. The gas may first be condensed before being introduced into the alcoholic solution. Alcoholic solution; 80% ethyl alcohol and 20% water, optionally containing small amounts of glycerine or propylene glycol to prevent evaporation of the alcohol, and ethyl palminate, ethyl stearate or phenyl ethyl alcohol to sustain the flavour. The temperature of the alcoholic solutuon is kept between 60‹C. and 30‹C. Alcoholic beverages; Whisky, beer, rum, sakÚ, wine and apple wine.
