Abstract

1,164,245. Agricultural implement. TURENGIN SOKERITEHDAS OY. 26 Feb., 1968 [16 March, 1967], No. 9097/68. Heading A1B. An implement for conneciton to the three point attachment of a tractor comprises different units including a pre-cultivator, a harrow, a fertilizer and a roller. A precultivation unit consists of a drag 18 with adjustable height and inclination which levels the surface. The cultivation unit mounted behind is a spring harrow which includes S-shaped prongs 21 detachably fastened to transverse supporting bars 5, 6. A fertilizing unit is mounted above the harrow and consists of a tank 23 with two groove members 25, 26 mutually connected, in the lower part. Feed rollers 29 are mounted in the grooves and driven by chain and wheel mechanism 30-37. Fertiliser is fed through feed openings 38 situated above the prongs 21 and through funnel 40 to pipes 41, 42 with ends fixed behind the prongs of the harrow. The rolling unit comprises two adjacently located warp rollers 44 mounted behind the harrow. The pressure of the warp rollers on the ground is regulated by adjustable pulling springs 53 which connect the frame of the warp rollers to the main frame. In a modification of the cultivator illustrated in Fig.3 (not shown), two drags 18 are provided and the S-shaped prongs 21 are replaced by prongs connected to bars 5, 6 by leaf springs (57).
