[Also in Divisions F2 and G5] A tape spool holder comprises a dished hub 1 with opposed apertures 5, 5 or 5<SP>1</SP>, 5<SP>1</SP>, the latter being opposite lugs 16, 17 carrying arcuate yokes 12, 13 the outwardly bent ends of which have outward slots carrying the spindle ends of rubber covered rollers 6, 7 accommodated in the apertures 5, 5, the rollers being carried in saddles 10, 11. Leaf springs 18, 19 carried by one of the yokes press on the saddles to urge the rollers radially outward whereby, when a spool has its core mounted on spindle 3, the curved inner edge snaps over the rollers which then grip the inner edge.
