Abstract

1,156,505. Trowelling machines. V. P. COLIZZA. 21 Oct., 1966 [22 Oct., 1965], No. 47317/66. Heading E1G. Means for detachably attaching a blade assembly to a trowelling machine comprises a first part 19, fixed to the upper surface of the blade 15, and a second part 21 attached to the base 12 of the machine, the second part 21 enclosing the first part 19 and extending into the region of the upper surface of the blade 15, attaching means for detachably securing the first and second parts together contained within the enclosure. The first part 19 is of channel section having double forked ends engageable with a transverse pin 22 within the second part 21; a transverse pin 24 within the channel 19 being engaged by the slotted head 26 of a bolt slidable in slot 29 of channel 21 to secure the two parts together. Duplication of the pin and slot connection enables the blade to be reversed. In a second embodiment the head 26 of the bolt has a transverse pin engaging a T or L shaped slot in the first part 19.
