Teeth, artificial; teeth, stopping.-Dental matrices for use in moulding a cement tooth facing on the metal part of a bridge or other backing whilst in position in the mouth, or for use in filling a tooth cavity, consists of a tooth-shaped depression moulded in a strip of sheet celluloid or like relatively stiff material. In the form shown, a sheet 2 of celluloid is formed with a series of matrices 1 from which one may be selected, trimmed as shown in Fig. 7 to form a finger tab D, filled with cement as shown in Fig. 5, and pressed in position against the metal backing as shown in Fig. 1. A backing strip F, Fig. 1, may be held in position under the bridge while the cement is being applied. Specification 115,626 is referred to.
