1,154,656. Dispensing flat articles. D. REY. 16 March, 1967 [25 April, 1966], No. 12302/67. Heading B8P. In a dispensing container where a column of flat articles, e.g. chewing-gum bars, is pressed against the top wall by a spring 24, the uppermost article 35 is ejected through a slit 25 by a resilient arm 31 when a knob 33 is released; forcible displacement of the arm 31 to the dotted line position allows the next bar to rise. Ribs such as 26-28 guide the column.
