Mines, marine and land.-Relates to explosive mines for use especially in connexion with nets and other entanglements on land and sea, and of the kind fired by a spring striker cocked and released by a pull on a line. According to the invention, the firing-device comprises a spring- actuated striking-lever e, which is cocked and released by another lever f when this is pulled by a rod i connected to an external line j. The rod i is locked at safe by a transverse pin m when a solenoid l is energized; and a spring n withdraws the pin m when the current is cut off. The striking-lever e is arranged to fire a percussion cap d or to close an electric firing-circuit. The mine, when towed, is provided with grapnels or suspended in loops.
