Abstract
1,154,330. Cement. GOSUDARSTVENNY VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO - ISSLEDOV - ATELSKY INSTITUT TSEMENTNOI PROMYSHLENNOSTI. 22 Aug., 1966 [20 Aug., 1965], No. 37607/66. Heading C1H. Rapid hardening portland cement is obtained by grinding a raw mix until of its silica content not less than 20% is sized 0À5 to 15 Á and not more than 8% is 60-200 Á, sintering, and grinding the clinker (which contains more than 55% alite and not more than 8% tricalcium aluminate) so that 20-25% is sized up to 5 Á; 55- 80% is 5-30Á, and up to 6% is 80-200 Á, the % b.w. of particles having a size equal to or greater than any particular value as a function of size using the Rosin-Rammler-Sperling system of co-ordinates giving angular co-efficients of 0À4-0À5 for the less than 5 Á and of 0À8 for the 5-30 Á size.
