1,149,939. Block polymers; reclaims rubber compositions. UNIROYAL Inc. 4 April, 1968 [24 April, 1967], No. 16152/68. Headings C3P and C3Q. [Also in Division El] A weather-proof composition suitable for making into a profiled joint sealer comprises reclaimed rubber in admixture either with a block copolymer A-B-A wherein each A is a polymeric block of alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon of molecular weight 2,500 to 100,000 and B is a polymer block of a conjugated diene of average molecular weight 25,000 to 500,000, or with a hydrogenated derivative thereof, the material being uncured. The reclaim may be of natural rubber, SBR, butyl or neoprene. The composition may also contain bitumen, polyester plasticizer, and tricresyl phosphate.
