1,148,872. Powder distributers. SISIS EQUIPMENT (MACCLESFIELD) Ltd. 18 April, 1966 [16 Jan., 1965], No. 2045/65. Addition to 964,156. Heading A1D. A powder distributer as claimed in Specification 964,156 is provided with rollers which are of sponge-like softness but are of imperforate, non-porous or non- cellular structure having a shore hardness of between 15 and 25 degrees. Alternatively the rollers may be formed with a brushlike or pile surface or they may comprise fluid-inflated rollers. One of the rollers may be replaced by a conveyer band. Adjustable shutters may be provided to blankoff areas of the nip formed by the rollers so that the material may be directed down shoots 21.
