A panel comprises separate strips of non- composite corrugated material attached to a sheet of hardboard, plywood, plastic, cardboard or other non-metallic material. In a preferred embodiment, the corrugated strips are interposed between the said sheet and a sheet of hardboard, plywood, plastic, metal, cardboard, corrugated cardboard or other material. The corrugations may be angled or sinusoidal and may be attached to the first sheet by their edges or by the peaks of the corrugations. A sheet of aluminium foil may be included in the structure of the panel.
