1,147,829. Plant for treating ceramic moulded articles. J. LIPPERT. 3 Oct., 1967 [18 Aug., 1967], No. 44908/67. Heading C1H. [Also in Division F4] A conveyer simultaneously deposits a plurality of moulded ceramic articles from a drier on to a plurality of stationary working stations (or spindles) of a cleaning device. As shown, 8, plates 4 are taken from a leather-hard or white drier 1 by a combined conveying and inverting device 8, which comprises a pivoted arm 10 carrying 8 vacuum lifting bellows 11, and placed under a second conveyer 12. Conveyer 12 comprises 8 vacuum lifting bellows 13 fixed on a beam and slides along the rods 17 and 18 to deposit the plates on to the spindles 19 of the cleaning device 2. The spindles 19 are mounted in a row extending at right-angles to the path of conveyance of the plates and above a suction duct 20 which removes the dust caused by the cleaning tools 21 and 22. A further conveyer 23, identical to the conveyer 12 carries the cleaned plates to the pendulum trays of the stacking elevator 3. The conveyers 12 and 23 are connected by a member 24 and move along the same rods 17 and 18.
