Abstract

1,147,488. Automatic circuit - breakers. SQUARE D CO. 8 Sept., 1967 [10 Nov., 1966], No. 41243/67. Heading H1N. A multipole circuit-breaker similar to that of Specification 827,740 has a trip indicator 30 arranged such that, upon tripping of the trip lever 10 of any one of the trip mechanisms 14, a common trip bar 40 is driven by the trip lever 10 and in turn drives the indicator 30 so that its flag 33 is visible. The indicator 30 is normally biased to non-indicating position by a spring 34. The manual operator 6 is movable between ON and OFF positions without causing movement of trip levers, trip bar or indicator.
