[Also in Divisions B3 and C7] A Co-base alloy especially for hard facing and brazing purposes, e.g. for coating the teeth of chain saw blades, consists of Co is the remainder except for unavoidable impurities with the minimum amount of Co being 64%. The alloy may be used in vacuum brazing. For example, it may be used to braze together parallel tubes of stainless steel.
