Abstract
1,143,422. Supporting roof guttering; gutter brackets. CONDER INTERNATIONAL Ltd. 7 Feb., 1966 [8 Feb., 1965; 7 Feb., 1965], Nos. 5180/66 and 5181/66. Heading A4B. A gutter is supported on a building by at least one gutter support which permits longitudinal movement of the gutter and comprises a mounting part 11 secured to the building and a supporting part 23 supporting the gutter, adjusting means being incorporated whereby the supporting part 23 is steplessly adjustable in a vertical direction with respect to the mounting part 11 and whereby the height of the supporting part can be adjusted with the gutter in position, said adjusting means being substantially concealed when the gutter is viewed from a position in front of the gutter and at the same height as the gutter. The adjusting means described comprises a telescopic portion including a sleeve 13c secured to the part 23 and a sliding inner member 13b secured to the part 11, the sleeve and inner member being secured in adjusted position by screws 13a. In Fig. 2 longitudinal movement of the gutter is permitted by pivoted connections formed by bolts 12, 25. In Figs. 1, 4 and 5 (not shown) the gutter is clipped or clamped to the part 23 so as to be longitudinally slidable thereon.
