Abstract

1,142,631. Amplitude modulating. W. & T. AVERY Ltd. 2 June, 1966 [2 March, 1965], No. 8812/65. Heading H3R. [Also in Division H2] A circuit comprises a bridge network having a first pair of diagonally opposite terminals AB connected to a D.C. supply and an A.C. supply and a second pair of diagonally opposite terminals CD connected to an output via a blocking device C2. The bridge network comprises linear impedances R2, R3 and non linear impedances NLR1, NLR2 whereby it is balanced at a certain value of direct voltage and is proportionately out of balance for changes in the direct voltage. The impedances are preferably resistors.
