The invention comprises compounds of the Formula III wherein B represents an organic radical and A represents a C 1-4 alkylene radical, their preparation by reacting a compound of the Formula II with an aldehyde of the formula B.CHO and the conversion of compounds of the Formula III to secondary amines of the Formula I by reaction with a quaternizing agent of the formula RX where X represents a halogen atom or a mono-alkyl sulphate or sulphonyloxy radical to form a corresponding salt of the amine of the Formula I. Compounds of the Formula I have antidepressant properties.
