1,139,131. Cleaning vehicle windows. H. MILLER & CO. Ltd. 7 Feb., 1966 [5 Feb.. 1965], No. 5005/65. Heading A4F. A device for cleaning the internal and external surfaces of a vehicle window not readily accessible from the driver's seat comprises arms 7, 8 carrying wiper blades 5, 6 and secured to a spindle 9 (Fig. 6, not shown) to which are anchored and wound in opposite directions end portions of the wire cores of Bowden cables 11, 12, the opposite ends of the wire cores being anchored to a rotor 2 mounted near the driver's seat and oscillatable by a handle 1, operated by the driver, to oscillate the wiper blades 5, 6.
