Abstract

1,137,462. Ejectors. H. HOLTER. Jan. 16, 1967 [Jan. 18, 1966], No.2165/67. Heading F1E. In an ejector having a diffuser type pressure connection 2 merging with a suction connection 1 and an annular propellant air feed nozzle 8, the nozzle 8 is located on a hollow body 3, having an annular cross-section, which is located inside the suction connection and the external diameter of which, at any axial location, is smaller than the corresponding internal diameter of the suction connection. The ejector, which may be used for dust removal in mines, may have a partition 5 in the hollow body 3 and a number of propellant air intake tubes 4.
