Abstract

1,137,259. Loose-leaf binders. INTERNATIONAL AERADIO Ltd. 1 June, 1967 [29 March, 1966], No. 13844/66. Heading B6E. A binder for loose leaves comprises two rigid bars 10, 11 and a number of lengths 22-25 of flexible material extending through apertures in the leaves and bars at least one of the bars having a longitudinal groove 20 with transverse constrictions 21 for releasably engaging one end of each of the lengths. As shown in Fig. 1, the lengths 22, 23 comprise parts of one piece of material as also do the lengths 24, 25. The free ends of each piece are secured by the constrictions 21 in the upper bar 10 and the part of each piece joining two lengths such as 22, 23, is secured by similar constrictions in the lower bar 11. The material may be polythene and tubular in form, in which case one end of a length may be secured to one of the bars 10, 11 by a screw-like member (17, Fig. 3, Provisional drawings) and the other end secured by constrictions in a groove in the other bar as described above.
