1,136,283. Calculators. BRITISH RAILWAYS BOARD. 17 March, 1967 [29 March, 1966], No. 13851/66. Heading G4B. A calculator for determining the volume per unit weight of a load comprises a disc 3 rotatably mounted between front and back plates 1, 2, the front plate having radial slots 8, 9, graduated in weight and length markings, respectively and the disc carrying two sectors of arcuate scales marked off in volume per unit weight and area graduations to co-operate with the slots 8, 9, respectively. The weight and volume per unit weight graduations may be interchanged. The radial slots 8, 9 are provided with hair-line cursors 10.
