A vehicle wheel, e.g. for a track-laying military vehicle, comprises a frusto-conicals heetmetal wheel disc 1 welded to a sheet-metal annulus 5 to form a closed annular space 6. Preferably the annulus 5 has a cylindrical surface 7 on which a rubber ring 8 is vulcanized. The wheel may be mounted with either face of a hub part 3 against the vehicle. A twin wheel may be formed by two such wheels with the hub parts 3 oppositely mounted and in contact with one another.
