1,132,475. Tractor power lift mechanisms. KLÍCKNER-HUMBODLT DEUTZ A.G. 23 June, 1966 [1 July, 1965], No. 28216/66. Heading A1P. The operation of a power lift mechanism is controlled in dependence upon the draft of the attached implement and also in dependence upon the speed of travel of the tractor. The tractor drive is infinitely variable by means of adjustable pulleys 7, 8, and 9, 10 controlled by a manual lever 11 and a rod 15 attached to the pulley 7, 8 is arranged to pivot lever 17 which operates the main control valve 33. The other end of lever 17 is moved, against a biasing spring 28, by the upper link 25 in response to changes in draft of an attached implement. The effect of the tractor speed changes on the lever 17 can be varied by operation of the screw 18.
