1,131,976. Adjusting vehicle to slope. VYZKUMNY USTAV ZEMEDELSKYCH STROJU. 20 June, 1966 [8 Nov., 1965], No. 27365/66. Heading B7D. [Also in Division A1] An agricultural machine, e.g. a potato harvester, adapted to operate on a lateral slope comprises a body mounted on a main frame equipped with steerable wheels by a horizontal pivot or pin arranged in the longitudinal axis of the machine, and an hydraulic cylinder or other distance controlling mechanism pivotally connected to the body and main frame, the body being connected with vertical turning pivots of the steerable wheels by means of a rod and lever system so arranged that when the body is pivoted the steerable wheels are turned about their vertical pivots. As illustrated the rod and lever system comprises rods 11, 16, bell cranks 13 pivoted at 14 on the main frame and one arm levers (18), (Fig. 2, not shown), which are connected to the vertical pivots (6) of the wheels.
