1,131,757. Back- and head-rest insert for baths. E. WOLF [trading as EUGENWOLF, VERSANDHAUS UND WASCHEFABRIK]. 7 Oct., 1966 [8 Oct., 1965], No. 44920/66. Headings A4M and A4N. An insert for a bath for supporting the back and head comprises a back-rest 5, a spacer 7 attached to the rear of the backrest for spacing the upper part of the backrest from the interior of the bath, and a head-rest 11 extending from the upper end of the back-rest, the head-rest having a first part proximate the upper end of the back-rest for engaging a user's head and a second part having a portion for engaging the top edge of the bath. The insert may also include a further spacer 7 which is connected to the rear of the back-rest for spacing the lower part of the back-rest from the interior of the bath. The back-rest and head-rest may each consist of two parallel struts 6 and 12, respectively, both interconnected by strips of resilient material.
