Abstract
1,131,734. Checking receipts. SECURITY TIME REGISTERS Ltd. 8 Sept., 1967 [10 June, 1966], No. 26077/66. Heading G4T. [Also in Division G2] Apparatus for checking receipts, e.g. betting slips, comprises a cash register 1 with an infeed shoot 2 built into it, the receipts to be checked being inserted by hand into a slot 3. The receipts are gripped by a pair of pressure rollers 4, 5 after being arrested on a paper stop 6 and are then printed by wheels 7. They are then fed by a conveyer 18 to a copying station 11 at which they are stopped and photographed together with a clock 12 adjacent the station. The photographed receipts are then fed to a receptacle 31. The 16 mm. film in the camera is wound on automatically and an exposure counter 32 and a warning buzzer are provided. The station 11 may be horizontal.
