1,131,263. Polyalkylene glycol compositions. NAPHTACHIMIE. 23 Aug., 1966 [24 Aug., 1965], No. 37724/66. Heading C3R. [Also in Division C5] Hydraulic fluids comprise a polyalkylene glycol, a glycol ether and 2-5% by weight of castor oil or a condensate of 1,2-propylene oxide or 1,2-butylene oxide with castor oil. The composition may also contain a small percentage of a low molecular weight glycol and/or an anti-oxidant and/or an anti-corrosive agent. The example describes a composition of polypropylene glycol (mol. wt. 2000) diethylene glycol monoethylether, monoethylene glycol, the condensate of 3 moles of propylene and butylene oxide with 1 mole of castor oil, ndibutylamine and diphenylol propane.
