Abstract
1,130,529. Curtains. GARDISETTE G.m.b.H. 5 April, 1966 [15 Oct., 1965], No. 15132/66. Heading A4S. [Also in Divisions B5 and D1] A weighting strip for a curtain comprises spaced lead portions 1 connected by a continuous thread 2 and enclosed in a longitudinally seamed flexible sheath 3 of plastics film material e.g. of a polyterephthalate foil. In modifications an external textile sleeve 4 is provided, or lead portions cut from a lead wire are deposited at spaced intervals on a glued plastics foil strip which is folded and sealed.
