Padded articles e.g. a sun visor or arm rest are made by blow-moulding a hollow skin and introducing a reinforcing member into the interior of the skin and filling the skin with foamed plastics through an aperture in the skin while in a mould. The reinforcing member may be a metal wire. The skin may be of P.V.C. or polyethylene.
