Abstract

1,129,308. Treatment chambers. G. JAUVAIS. 22 Nov., 1965 [7 Dec, 1964], No. 49440/65. Headings A5R and A5T. A treatment chamber comprises a sealed container provided with a vibratory chair 14 and a device for converting water to a heated aerosol form. The latter device may comprise a container 21 in which distilled water is placed and a serpentine tube 26, both of which are heated by passing an electric current through a resistance in a terra cotta element 23. Both the container and the vibratory chair may be mounted on frames provided with rollers. Cinematographic or television apparatus 27 may be mounted on the container so as to project an image on a screen 28. A hood 29 may be placed over the head of the patient, the hood being provided with an oxygen inlet tube 32, fan 31 and sound reproducing apparatus 30. Appropriate medicaments may be placed in the water container 21.
