1,125,471. Magnetic switches. RONALD TRIST CONTROLS Ltd. 18 July, 1966 [20 July, 1965], No. 30783/65. Heading H1N. A snap-action retractive switch 12 is biased either by an identical switch 13 or by a snapaction mechanism (Figs. 3 and 4) with similar characteristics, so that the switch 12 remains in the condition to which it was last actuated. The operating buttons 10, 11 are in contact with an arm 8 carried by a pivoted permanent magnet 7 actuated by a permanent magnet 6 carried by a pivoted float. Since the switches 10, 11 oppose one another the external force needed to move switch 12 from one condition to another is reduced.
