Abstract

112,514. Tollefsen, O. A. Jan. 17, 1917. Composition fuel.-Briquettes are made from waste material such as paper by first reducing it to small pieces, softening the mass with water and then adding a binder of resin-glue or flour mixed with water at 60‹ C. Other waste materials such as sawdust, tanning bark, fir and pine cones, fruit rinds, matches, haulm, cork, linoleum, foliage, and peat, previously softened in water, are then added and worked into the mass till the whole is reduced to a paste suitable for moulding. Specification 22958/12 is referred to.
