Abstract
1,121,943. Screwdrivers. RHEINMETALL G.m.b.H. 17 Jan., 1967 [26 Jan., 1966], No. 2448/67. Heading B4W. [Also in Division F3] An adjusting tool for rotary rear sights comprises a Phillips-head screwdriver 1 having affixed thereto a cross-piece 2. The armed levers 3 are pivotally mounted on the crosspiece 2 at each side of the screwdriver and each has an adjustable and exchangeable spring wire pin 4 fixed to its free end by, for example, clamping screws 5. The levers may be provided with manual bearing surfaces 3a. The crosspiece 2 is U-shaped and is provided with holes 6 in which are, located locking pins and springs by means of which the levers are held spread slightly away from the screwdriver. The levers may be spread horizontally such that a greater manual torque can be applied to the screwdriver (Fig. 2 not shown). The wire pins 4 are intended to depress locking pins in the sight to allow a threaded drum having peep apertures to be manually adjusted vertically.
