Abstract

1,120,772. Endless conveyers. GEORGE ANGUS & CO. Ltd. 23 June, 1967 [25 June, 1966], No. 29098/67. Heading B8A. Material 4 is elevated by co-operating endless belts 2, 2, each of which has a facing 2 of foamed polyurethane covered by an outer skin 7 of polyurethane. The belts 2 may have interfitting side walls 7 which may be formed by spaced segment-shaped projections 19, the spaces 10 closing under load. In a modification (Figs. 8 and 9, not shown), the projections (29) are not of segmental shape. The side walls may be continuous and of undulating form (Fig. 7, not shown) or they may be formed by extensions (11) of the skin 7 (Fig. 6, not shown). The spacing of pressure rollers 13 may be variable.
