Abstract

1,117,341. Wire fabric. HALMSTADS JARNVERKS AB. 19 Jan., 1966 [19 Jan., 1965 (2)], No. 2501/66. Heading D1K. [Also in Division B3] A wire reinforcement is formed of longitudinal and transverse rods 1, 2 welded together, some of the longitudinal rods being deformed to project downwardly to provide supports 13 for the structure. The longitudinal bars 1 are fed between guide rollers 3 where they are advanced to a position in which they are clamped by jaws 7, 11 whilst some of the longitudinal rods are deformed by members 8 which are projected downwardly to create a support formation 13. Subsequently a transverse rod 2 is pressure welded to the longitudinal rods under clamps 4, 5. A plastics liner 12 is fitted to the bottom of the support 13.
