A clamping device for planing, drilling and milling machines comprises a pair of detachable flanged members 6 co-operating with a member 2 and a T-slotted table. The member 2 carries a screw or is threaded to receive a screw, the screw being extended, if required by rods 9, 11 and collars 10 which may be as described in Specification 1,101,838. The means may be used in conjunction with tables having longitudinal and transverse T- slots, and may incorporate magnets.
