Abstract

In sewage treatment process in which the aeration chamber surrounds the settling basin both are constructed from prefabricated modular parts. The settling basin is a truncated cone with aerating nozzles close to the bottom of the aerating basin which causes water in the basin to execute transverse vortical motions.
