Abstract

1,114,462. Filter. T. C. SANDERS. 14 Nov., 1966 [13 Nov., 1965], No. 48291/65. Heading BID. A filter into which oil to be filtered falls from a machining tool comprises a filter paper 12 which can be drawn manually at 14 across a fixed perforated trough shaped guide 15 and is pressed down by the weight of oil to form a trough. Filtered oil is returned to the tool by pump 26. Member 22 is a fine gauze screen. A float or float operated light may be used to indicate the need for moving the filter paper on.
