Abstract
1,116,842. Filter. AGFA-GEVAERT A.G. 17 Sept., 1965 [10 Oct., 1964], No. 39811/65. Heading BID. [Also in Division G2] A liquid circulation system for a photographic processing tank 1 comprises a processing liquid reception and delivery chamber 5 made of transparent material, a removable filter 15 composed of several very wide mesh fabric layers so that it retains filtered out solid material when the filter is removed, the filter 15 being arranged in a slide 14 which is located by guide means 13 and divides the chamber 5 into reception and delivery sections. The transparent chamber 5 enables the plate of contamination of the filter to be judged from the difference between liquid levels in front of and behind the filter. Circulation of liquid is effected by propellor 8, and circulation can continue even when the filter has been withdrawn.
