Abstract

The invention comprises salts, with acids, of compounds of formula R-N = CH-NR1-CO-NR2R3, wherein R, R1 are C1- 4 aliphatic radicals (possibly alkoxy- or dialkylamino-substituted), and R2, R3 are H or aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radicals (possibly halogen-, alkyl-, alkoxy- or dialkylamino-substituted), or NR2R3 form a pyrrolidine ring. The salt-forming acids may be, e.g. mineral or organic acids, or phenols.ALSO:Plant growth is controlled using salts, with acids, of compounds of formula R-N=CH -NR1-CO-NR2R3, wherein R, R1 are C1-4 aliphatic radicals (possibly alkoxy- or dialkylamino-substituted), and R2, R3 are H or aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radicals (possibly halogen-, alkyl-, alkoxy- or dialkylamino-substituted), or NR2R3 form a pyrrolidine ring. The salt-forming acids may be, e.g. mineral or organic acids, or phenols. The salts are formulated in the usual way, and other biocidal compounds such as substituted phenoxycarboxylic acids, substituted carboxylic acid anilides, triazine derivatives, urea derivatives and chlorinated fatty acid esters, may also be present.
